Solo Dance Contest 2022 soon in Gdańsk

151 solo performances by artists from all 35 countries were submitted to the SDC competition, as part of the 14th Gdańsk Dance Festival. Most applications was sent from Israel, Italy and Poland, and the farthest came from Camroon, Argentina and USA. The Contest will be held on September 19-23, 2022 at Klub Żak in Gdańsk.

Artists will show their solo works, for four days and on the fifth day, will perform Finalists selected by the international Jury. The jury will include: Katie Duck - a dancer and performer, professionally active for almost 50 years; Erez Zohar - dancer and Konrad Kurowski - playwright and culture manager. Apart from the jurors, the audience will also award their prize. The pool of all prizes is 6,000 Euro.
