STUDIO theatergallery: the sale of tickets for the shows from the series "The Met: Live in HD. Season”
The Theatre Studio will present nine unique broadcasts from The Metropolitan Opera in New York. The seventeenth season of the award-winning shows from the series "The Met: Live in HD" will begin on October 21, 2023 with the broadcast of the premiere production of "Dead Man Walking" directed by Ivo van Hove with beloved mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato.
The Met will also present two more premiere titles:an extraordinary work from the CNN opera genre“X: The Life and Times of Malcolm X” by Anthony Davis (November 18) and “Florencia en el Amazonas” by the Mexican composer Daniel Catán (December 9), the first Spanish-language opera for nearly a hundred years stage of the Met.
There will be titles known and loved by viewers, such as "Romeo i Julia"Charles Gounod(23 March 2024),"Madama Butterfly" by Giacomo Puccini (11 May 2024), "Nabucco" Giuseppe Verdi with Liudmyla Monastyrska and Georg Gagnidze (January 6, 2024) and Giacomo Puccini's bittersweet love story "La Rondine" (April 20, 2024). Admire there will also be a new staging of Georges Bizet's sensual "Carmen" with the tenor Piotr Beczała (January 27, 2024) and a rising star of world stages - mezzo-soprano Aigul Akhmetshin in the title part. We will also see Giuseppe Verdi's opera "La Forza del Destino”, directed by Mariusz Treliński in a star cast with the participation of e.g. Lisa Davidsen and Brian Jadge (March 9, 2024).
