Fascinated by the worlds of The Hobbit, Harry Potter or Game of Thrones, we forget about our native mythology: our pre-Slavic gods, heroes and beasts. They live in our consciousness mostly only in a romanticised, indulgent form. But what if we actually tried to go to that world?
9th century. The beginnings of the Polish State. Warrior Krak becomes the king of the new state and sits on the throne in the city named, in his honour, Krakow. The old king’s children, Lech, Krak and Wanda, assist their father in a wise and modern rule of the land. Meadows are transformed into pastures, forests into fields. The ancient forces of nature endure these changes with pain. However, their patience ends when the axes reach the sacred grove. Then... a dragon appears over Krakow. It ravages the land, kills animals and people. Terrified citizens begin to make offerings to the beast. And the rulers are looking for a way to defeat it
